My Story in Best of British SF

This has been on my bucketlist for ages! I’ve had a story accepted to the awesome NewCon Press collection “Best of British SF 2022” edited by Donna Scott.

The story? It’s from “Under the Moon: Collected Speculative Fiction” – and it’s one of my faves. The Amelioration of Existence in Spite of Truth and Reconciliation is a mouthful, but it’s a memorable title, even if for the wrong reasons.

This story is where my site tagline “Spaceships and Feelings” came from. It’s a quintessentially me story, and is suprisingly cosy, given the title.

It’s about a lot of things, but I hope it actually provides my own answer for the question, “what is the meaning of existence?”

You can pre-order your own copy of the Best of British SF 2022 anthology, from NewCon Press, here. Or if you can’t wait that long, feel free to go ahead and buy “Under the Moon: Collected Speculative Fiction” direct from Ghost Moth Press (or your preferred retailer).
