“A Flight of Birds” in SF Caledonia

I’m pleased to say I have a fantasy story in this SFF anthology, out March!

From Shoreline of Infinity‘s editor emeritus Noel Chidwick comes a new project, SF Caledonia. Collecting the best of Scottish SFF in a showcase website, this is his first anthology and I’m really chuffed to be included alongside fabulous Scottish author such as Anne Charnock, Pippa Goldschmidt, Rhiannon A Grist, T L Huchu, Ken MacLeod and more! There are even some historical items, like a story by John Buchan. Yes, the one who wrote “The Thirty-Nine Steps”.

“A Flight of Birds” was one of my first “big” stories to be published, (in Shoreline of Infinity) and I still have a soft place in my heart for the messed up Glaswegian vampire barista seeking connection through those who frequent the late night cafe where she works.

Out 13.03.25

Remember, pre-orders are very helpful for small publishers, so if you were thinking of getting this, please do go ahead!
